Result: Lara & Rojas ends in a draw

Featherweight Jorge Lara (27-0-2, 19 KOs) and Jesus Rojas (22-1-2, 15 KOs) fought to a six round technical draw. The bout was cut short when Lara could no longer see out of his right eye due to an accidental headbutt from earlier in the fight. All three score cards were 57/57.

Lara’s right eye was damaged bad by the 6th round and it seemed as if he had a hard time seeing. Rojas started to take advantage of the cut aiming for the eye. At the end of the sixth the ringside Dr. called the fight and it went to the scorecards.

The fight was action packed from the first bell. Lara started strong and won most of the beginning rounds. After the cut from a headbutt Rojas started to turn things around. Lara remains unbeaten with a record of 27-0-2 (19KOs) & Rojas is now 21-1-2 (15KOs).
