Amir Khan vs Ruslan Provodnikov possible

A welterweight showdown between two of the most popular names in the sport could fall on Showtime November 7th as Britian's Amir Khan could take on the Siberian Rocky Ruslan Provodnikov in New York City. The LA Times is reporting that they are awaiting on a final decision from Amir Khan in order for the fight to take place. Khan has been under scrutiny over the past few years for taking on fighter's that don't have a ton of power. A fight against Ruslan would silence alot of his critics especially if he proves that he can take Provodnikov's power. For Ruslan, it's a chance to get back into the spotlight after losing a close fight against Lucas Matthysse in the Spring.
