Sean Monaghan vs Don George set for Oct 16th

Sean Monaghan (25-0, 16 KOs) will face Donovan George (25-4-2, 22 KOs) on Oct. 16 @ Aviator in Brooklyn, New York. The fight is schedule for 10 rounds of boxing in the light heavyweight division. The event will be telecasted live on truTV starting @ 10pm ET & promoted by Top Rank.

Sean Monaghan is currently undefeated sporting a 64% knockout ratio. Monaghan fought four times last year and is coming off a TKo win over Fulgencio Zuniga this past June. He started his pro boxing career in 2010 winning against Simeon Trigueno by TKO in the first round.

Donovan George last fought Dyah Davis in 2014 over a year ago. He won the fight but it ended up being a no contest because George “tested positive for a banned substance" according to Illinois Boxing Commission. The "substance" was Tylenol 3 because he hurt his hand in training.
