Ruslan Provodnikov scores 4th round TKO

The Siberian Rocky Ruslan Provodnikov didn't disappoint earlier tonight in Monte Carlo. Provodnikov scored a 4th round TKO victory over Jesus Rodriguez to get himself back into the winning column after falling to Lucas Matthysse earlier this year. Provodnikov has been having a hard time getting the top guys into the ring with him and because of that he took this fight in Monte Carlo.

"I must praise Rodriguez,” said the Russian later. “A lot of big names didn’t want to fight, but he did.”

Provodnikov wanted to fight Brandon Rios however that fight fell through. It's likely he'll eye the winner of the Bradley-Rios fight that it being fought later tonight.
