Brandon Rios announces retirement

Former world champion Brandon Rios announced his official retirement following last night's loss to Timothy Bradley on HBO. Bradley defeated Rios with a 9th round TKO. Brandon Rios announced the retirement on his Facebook page.

"Wanted 2 thank all my ‪#‎teamrios‬ fans. I have made decision 2 hang up my gloves. Have a family 2 think about & hope u guys have enjoyed the fights I have given the fans. I made it this far when ppl doubted me. Its difficult to ride this & walk away from a sport I love. Thank 2 all my loyal fans 4 your support & Team RGBA u will always be family 2 me."
