Karim Mayfield joins Greg Cohen Promotions

Greg Cohen Promotions keeps on adding names to it's stable. Having recently signed former world champion Zab Judah and Kendall Holt, Cohen has now added Karim Mayfield (19-2-1, 11 KO's) to a contract.

"I am excited to be signing with GCP and look forward to being back in action early in 2016." Mayfield said of the signing. His promoter Greg Cohen is also excited by the signing and thinks that Mayfield has a bright future.

"Karim has amazing natural abilities and the personality to become a crossover star." Cohen said.

Mayfield's name was most recently in the spotlight as he was mentioned by Floyd Mayweather for his possible opponent in September of 2015. Mayweather decided to fight Andre Berto instead. Mayfield had a tough 2014. He suffered the first two losses of his professional career back to back. He finished off the year with a victory and has yet to see the ring in 2015.
