Former heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko has decided that he will not wait to exercise his rematch clause to face Tyson Fury. Klitschko will exercise his right to an immediate rematch per the previous contract signed with Fury.
"I was really frustrated directly after the fight but after some short nights I now know that I want to show that I am much better than my performance on Saturday. I couldn’t show my full potential at any time. This is what I want to change in the rematch – and I will. Failure is not an option.” Klitschko stated.
Klitschko was defeated by a lopsided unanimous decision last weekend. The date and venue are being worked on though Tyson Fury's team thinks London is a great place to host the fight.
