It appears a Gervonta Davis-Floyd Mayweather divorce is almost inevitable

The boxing landscape is changing and changing quickly, and it could mean some high-profile fighters will be on the move.

Matchroom Sport promoter Eddie Hearn recently announced a landmark $1 billion partnership deal with Perform Group, which could have major implications on how fights are made, and even UFC president Dana White is bringing Zuffa Boxing Promotions into the fray.

FightNights.com previously reported that White is in negotiations to sign lightweight world titleholder Mikey Garcia. But if you have been paying attention to Twitter lately, there could be another potential prospect lurking in the shadows.

Both Garcia and Davis work with the same manager, so it is likely that a lot of the same information is shared amongst that circle.

Davis (20-0, 19 KO's), 23, of Baltimore, won his second world title on April 21 with an impressive third-round stoppage of Jesus Cuellar, but has grown increasingly frustrated with promoter Floyd Mayweather Jr.

Just weeks before the fight, Davis implied that Mayweather tried to set him up to lose by forcing him into a world title shot against former IBF super featherweight world champion Jose Pedraza. Davis won by seventh-round TKO.
