Former welterweight champion Jeff Horn 19-1-1 (13 KO's) defeated Anthony Mundine (48-9, 28 KO's) by 1st Round TKO early this morning (EST) at the Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane Australia. Horn landed a left hook that dropped Mundine. The referee stopped the fight as Mundine was attempting to get up, feeling as though Mundine was unable to continue. The fight is the first fight for Horn since losing to Terence Crawford over the summer. Mundine suffers his third loss in his last four fights, spanning over a three year period. The victory may help Horn get back into the talented welterweight mix.
