Julian Rodriguez returns on July 29 in New Jersey

On Friday July 29th, Bergen County Fight 2 will take place at the American Dream Mall located in East Rutherford, New Jersey. Presented by Abella Boxing Promotions, the event will feature a 12-fight card. The event will be streamed live on BXNG TV.

The main event will feature Julian “Hammer Hands” Rodriguez out of Hasbrouck Heights, New Jersey.

With 14 knockouts in 22 fights with a 21-1 record, Rodriguez will make his return to the ring for the frist time since suffering his first career defeat.

On June 12th of last year, Jose Pedraza stopped Rodriguez in the eighth round due to a corner stoppage.

The 26-year-old recently stated, “I appreciate, and I am truly grateful for those that have been rocking with Team Hammer Hands from the beginning as well as moving forward! This one's for you guys, right in Bergen County. I'm confident it will be a great time.”

Out of Newburgh, New York, Elijah “The Bully” Williams will compete in a welterweight bout scheduled for 4-rounds. In his pro-debut (August 2021), Williams knocked out James Anderson in the first round. The 18-year-old added an additional W to his record this year on March 24th by defeating Ricardo Jimenez by a split-decision at the Bellrose Ballroom located in Queens, NY.

With a 1-1 pro-record, Jade “Poison” Ivery (Teaneck, New Jersey) is all set for the card. Preparing in day and night training sessions, Ivery is motivated to put on for his family, friends and supporters. Ivery sealed his first pro-victory at Bergen County Fight Night on April 2nd by defeating Tyler Jacques in a four round bout by unanimous decision.

The determined Ivery recently stated, “I'm born for this. I'm very talented and I’ve been doing it long enough. I just feel like it's past due.” Before going pro, Ivery fought in 3 international boxing tournaments as an amateur in Ireland."
