A stacked pay-per-view undercard featuring three compelling matchups across weight divisions from 147 to 160 pounds will precede the highly-anticipated Canelo Alvarez vs. Jermell Charlo undisputed super middleweight championship bout on Saturday, September 30. This exciting undercard will be broadcast live on SHOWTIME PPV from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas and is brought to you by Canelo Promotions in collaboration with Premier Boxing Champions.

Here's a look at the featured bouts:

1. Yordenis Ugas vs. Mario “El Azteca” Barrios: Former world champions Yordenis Ugas and Mario “El Azteca” Barrios will clash, vying for the Interim WBC Welterweight Title.

Ugas: (27-5, 12 KOs), a top welterweight, returns on September 30 after a loss to Errol Spence Jr. in April 2022. He became a world champion in January 2021 by defeating Abel Ramos and solidified his status by beating Manny Pacquiao in August 2021. Hailing from Cuba, he's trained in Las Vegas and boasts wins over undefeated fighters Jamal James, Omar Figueroa Jr., and Bryant Perrella, plus notable contenders like Thomas Dulorme and Ray Robinson.

Barrios: (27-2, 18 KOs), aged 28, scored an eighth-round knockout of Jovanie Santiago in February and had previously contested Keith Thurman in his welterweight debut. He became a 140-pound world champion in September 2019 by defeating Batyr Akhmedov. However, he lost the super lightweight title to Gervonta Davis in June 2021.

2. Elijah Garcia vs. Armando Reséndiz: Rising middleweights Elijah Garcia and Armando Reséndiz will engage in a 10-round showdown to kick off the evening's action at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT.

Garcia:(15-0, 12 KOs), 20 years old, emerged as a breakout star in 2023 by knocking out Amilcar Vidal and securing a unanimous decision against Kevin Salgado. He's a rising talent at 160 pounds, having turned pro in 2020 with six knockout wins in his last eight bouts.

Reséndiz: (14-1, 10 KOs), 24, achieved a career highlight by stopping former unified champion Jarrett Hurd in March. Fighting out of Los Angeles, he aims to continue his winning streak after a close decision loss to Marcos Hernandez in September 2021. Reséndiz turned pro in 2018 and had a successful U.S. debut in April 2021 with a decision victory over Quilisto Madera.

3. Jesus “Mono” Ramos Jr. vs. Erickson “Hammer” Lubin (Co-Main Event): In the co-main event, the undefeated sensation Jesus “Mono” Ramos Jr. will face off against the formidable top contender Erickson “Hammer” Lubin in a thrilling 12-round super welterweight special attraction.

Ramos: A rising southpaw star at just 22, Ramos (20-0, 16 KOs) made a stunning 2023 debut by defeating Joey Spencer on the David Benavidez vs. Caleb Plant undercard in March. He's known for back-to-back unanimous decisions in 2021 against Brian Mendoza and Javier Molina, followed by wins over Luke Santamaria and Vladimir Hernandez in 2022. Ramos has garnered attention for his highlight-reel KOs, stopping seven of his last 10 opponents.

Lubin: At 27, Lubin (25-2, 18 KOs) showcased his prowess with a fifth-round stoppage of Luis Arias in June. In a memorable 2022 bout, he traded knockdowns with Sebastian Fundora. Before that, Lubin enjoyed a six-fight winning streak, defeating fighters like Jeison Rosario, Terrell Gausha, and Ishe Smith.
