Hopkins, Quillin, and Wilder all get victories

Bernard Hopkins continued to defy his age, and perhaps put on one of the more exciting fights of his career as he defeated Karo Murat by Unanimous Decision. Scores were 117-110, 119-108, 119-108. The 48 year old maintained the IBF light heavyweight champion in a fight that was very non-Hopkins like. Hopkins stood toe to toe, brawled, and at times ran over to Murat's corner to talk to them as Murat tried to hit him. One time, Hopkins even kissed Murat on the back of his head when they got turned around in a scuffle. He was every bit of entertaining as any of the top light heavyweights in the world. Hopkins improved to 53-6 and 32 KO's with the win. 

In the Co-Main event, Peter Quillin improved to 30-0 with 22 KO's as he defeated Gabriel Rosado with a tenth round TKO. Rosado was deemed unable to continue by the referee after a punch from Quillin split open his left eye. Quillin started the fight very well by jabbing and throwing his left hook to keep Rosado confused. A left hook from Quillin dropped Rosado in the second round. However it was Rosado who started to come on as the fight went on, using pressure and a hard right hand to hurt Quillin more than just a few times. Most media had the fight close at the time of the stoppage but the official score cards of the judges had Quillin ahead by a landslide. Official scores at the time of the stoppage were an absurd 90-80, 89-81, and 87-83. 

Opening the card, undefeated American Heavyweight Deontay Wilder continued his streak of knockouts as he defeated Nicolai Firtha with a 4th round KO. Wilder improved to 30-0 with 30 KO's
