Mansour KO's Price, Thompson batters Coyne

Main Events promotions closed out their spectacular boxing year with a bang Saturday night in Atlantic City, NY. Heavyweight prospect Amir Mansour (20-0, 15 KO's) drilled Kelvin Price (14-2, 6 KO's) with a 7th round KO. Mansour dominated Price for the entire fight as he was able to hurt him a few times until finally landing a crushing blow in the 7th round that nearly sent Price out of the ring. The fight ended seconds later at the end of the round when Price's corner refused to let him continue after the knockdown.

In the Co-Main event, Lionell Thompson (15-2, 9 KO's) continued his comeback as he easily dismantled Ryan Coyne (21-2, 9 KO's) with a Unanimous Decision victory. Thompson used his speed advantage, great defense, and jab to totally dominate Coyne. Thompson used quick combinations to keep Coyne at bay the entire fight. Scores were 99-91 across the board.
