Erik Morales Joins WBC Committee

WBC President Mauricio Sulaiman has announced that Mexican four-time world champion Erik “Terrible” Morales has accepted a position as manager of a WBC Training Committee, which is prepares boxers for their activities outside the ring. “We will conduct courses for the fighters to understand and learn about food, fitness, management, and prevention of drug and alcohol abuse. We look to soon do a diploma for managers and boxers at Anahuac University,” said Sulaiman. “We will make the course mandatory, even for boxer licensure and have contacted the local commissions. If they want to be champions of the WBC, we would have to approve the seminars and courses.”
