Cotto-Canelo fall fight likely

Miguel Cotto told Luis Sandoval of Fighthype that he has a verbal agreement to face Saul Canelo Alvarez with HBO should he win next Saturday night against Danny Geale. Cotto is not looking past Geale and still says he has to wait to see what happens. According to Cotto's adviser the fight between Cotto and Canelo is in the very advanced stages of negotiations. No date or venue has been given yet as Cotto has made it known that he will not be pressured into doing anything. Right now he states that his main objective is Danny Geale on June 6th at the Barclay's Center.
