Shingo Wake Dominates Tawatchai

Shingo Wake Dominated Mike Tawatchai over 12 RDs last night in Korakuen Hall, Tokyo, Japan. The results were, judge: Patrick Morley 119-108, judge: David Hudson 119-108, judge: Manfred Kuechler 118-109 all in favor of Shingo Wake. Tawatchai, was knockdown in the 12th round. Wake is now in line for a title shot by the end of the year.

Wake was looking for the KO right from RD one. Tawatchai tho was dominated thru out the fight stood strong until the very end in the 12th when Wake landed a right hook, straight left combination in the final 10 seconds of the bout. Wake was coming off 5 straight knockouts and really wanted to make this number six. Tawatchai managed to get up right at the bell in the 12th.

The bout was for the IBF super bantamweight title which Shingo Wake now possess.
