Keith "One Time" Thurman (26-0, 22 KO's) kept his undefeated record in tact as he defeated Luis Collazo (36-7, 19 KO's) earlier tonight on the PBC debut on ESPN. In front of a sold out card in Tampa Bay, FL, Thurman showed his hometown why he's considered one of the top welterweights in the division as he battered an outclassed Collazo for most of the fight. Thurman caught a scare at the end of the 5th round when Collazo landed a beautiful body shot that almost put Thurman down. Thurman was clearly hurt but survived the round. It was the only round that Thurman would lose.
At the end of the 7th round Collazo's face had two cuts on it. One from a headbutt and another from a punch. The Doctor went to the corner to check the cuts over Collazo's eye. Collazo told the Doctor that he couldn't see twice. When he was asked if they wanted the corner to stop the fight Collazo again said "It's up to you but I can't see" prompting the Doctor to stop the fight.
