The PBC on NBC television ratings continue to be of concern as the first year of the PBC closes out. The Omar Figueroa vs Antonio Demarco fight drew in an average of 1.8 million viewers on NBC Saturday night. In comparison to the other NBC primetime shows that the PBC has had, that's 1.5 million less than the first card they ever had in March when Keith Thurman fought Robert Guerrero. That card drew 3.3 million viewers.
The huge drop over the last 8 months could be due to a number of things. Saturday night there was a huge UFC card that featured the new face of UFC Conor Mcgregor. That preliminary bouts for the UFC did amazing numbers of Fox Sports 1. Also, Omar Figueroa and Antonio Demarco aren't huge names in the sport. While the fights were very fun to watch most people were to busy watching UFC or uninterested in the match up. The dropping numbers of the PBC is a concern and it remains to be seen if they can succeed.
