Off The Hook Boxing Series Set to Revolutionize Pro Boxing

A new chapter in professional boxing is unfolding with the launch of Off The Hook Boxing Series, spearheaded by combat sports executive Dean Toole. Best known as the CEO of Gamebred Bare Knuckle MMA and Gamebred Boxing, as well as the founder of Island Fights, Toole is setting the stage for a game-changing venture.

The inaugural Off The Hook Boxing Series event will take place on Saturday, May 3rd, at the Biloxi Civic Center in Biloxi, Mississippi, marking the beginning of a bold initiative aimed at reshaping the boxing landscape.

A Vision for More Fighter Opportunities

Since 2010, Island Fights has hosted 88 hybrid MMA and boxing events, gaining a reputation as a powerhouse in combat sports. However, Toole saw the need to separate the two disciplines at the professional level to maximize opportunities for fighters.

“We have so many talented boxers and MMA competitors,” said Toole. “If we split a card down the middle, we’d only get six fights per sport, which limits opportunities. This move ensures more MMA fights for Island Fights and more boxing matches for Off The Hook, opening doors for more fighters.”

Island Fights’ amateur events will continue to feature a mix of all combat disciplines, while Off The Hook Boxing Series will focus exclusively on professional boxing.

Building Champions from the Ground Up

Toole’s mission is clear: create a platform where fighters can develop into world champions. He believes boxing lacks a consistent event structure to provide early-career fighters with the competition and exposure they need.

“Even at the highest level, there isn’t a steady outlet for fighters to compete and stay active,” Toole explained. “Some of the greatest fighters on earth don’t exist because they never had the chance—Off The Hook will give them that shot.”

Ambitious Expansion Plans

With a goal of hosting 4-5 events by the end of 2025 and scaling up to 12-24 events annually, Off The Hook is already in discussions with multiple casinos and venues across the country.

“We want to build an amazing roster and create opportunities for boxers that haven’t been there before,” Toole added.

With its strong leadership, clear vision, and commitment to fighter development, Off The Hook Boxing Series is set to breathe new life into professional boxing.
