Main Events is thrilled to announce the signing of super bantamweight sensation Carlos "King Dynamite" Jackson (20-1, 13 KOs) from Atlanta, Georgia. The Alabama-born fighter, who now calls Atlanta home, has inked a multi-fight contract with the prestigious boxing promotion.
Jackson, who turned professional in 2015, quickly made a name for himself by winning his first four bouts by knockout. In April 2018, he captured the WBC FECARBOX Super Bantamweight title and successfully defended it later that year. Currently riding a four-fight win streak, including two consecutive TKOs, Jackson is eager to make his mark in the sport after rebounding from his lone loss during the pandemic's bubble period.
Having competed internationally, with bouts in the Dominican Republic, Colombia, and across the United States, Jackson is confident that his career is poised for a major breakthrough. "I feel like my career hasn’t gotten the respect it deserves," said Jackson. "I’ve faced everyone put in front of me, but my victories often go unnoticed. Signing with Main Events is a huge step for me—I've been grinding independently for so long, and it feels great to finally have a team that believes in me. I'm ready to show up and show out."
Jackson's goals are clear: "In the short term, I’m focused on dominating my division and earning a world title shot. Long term, I want to inspire others from similar backgrounds to believe that anything is possible if you invest in yourself."
Kathy Duva, CEO of Main Events, expressed her excitement about the signing. "We love working with fighters who share our vision of reaching the pinnacle of the sport. Carlos is close to achieving that—he's been tested and proven his mettle. I believe he's just one win away from breaking into the top 15, and with our support, he'll get there in no time."
Curtis Williams, a key figure in Jackson's development, added, "Carlos has grown tremendously in recent years. Every time I mention his name, people recall the incredible battles he's had with fighters like Vivas and Guzman. He consistently proves he can compete with the best. I see him breaking into the Top 5 and fighting for a world championship one day. As Denzel Washington said, ‘Hard work works,’ and no one works harder than Carlos Jackson."
Williams continued, "Joining Main Events is the final piece of the puzzle for Carlos. When you think of Main Events, you think of legends like Holyfield, Lewis, Whitaker, Gatti, Vargas, and Bivol. I can't wait to see what this partnership will achieve."
Jackson's journey into boxing was a deeply personal one. The son of a Panamanian mother and an Atlantan father who met while serving in the military, Jackson faced a tragic loss when his younger brother passed away at the age of 22. "Losing my brother left me without motivation," Jackson shared. "My dad suggested I take up boxing, and that's how this chapter of my life began."
With his family behind him and the backing of Main Events, Carlos "King Dynamite" Jackson is ready to take the boxing world by storm.
