Mosley Stopped For The First Time

In an upset, Anthony  Mundine (45-5, 27 KOs) became the first fighter to stop Sugar Shane Mosley (48-8-1, 39 KOs).  Mosley was unable to continue between rounds 6th and 7th round.  Anthony Mundine landed solid combinations in rounds five and six to hurt Mosley. The bout was stopped after round six when Mosley claimed to have back problems.

“Mosley is one of the greatest fighters who ever lived but he had back problem in this fight,” Mundine said. “He did hurt me once but felt I was dominating the fight.”
