Stevenson crushes Bellew, Kovalev demolishes Sillakh

It was a quick night of boxing for the light heavyweight division in Quebec City as Adonis Stevenson (23-1, 20 KO's) and Sergey Kovalev (23-0-1, 21 KO's) both ended up scoring knockout victories. Stevenson was the Main Event of the evening and was able to take out Bellew with a seventh round TKO. Stevenson speed and power seemed to be too much for Bellew from the start. The hard left cross of Stevenson slowly found it's mark as the night went on and eventually it was enough to knockdown Bellew and end his night in the seventh round. 

In the Co-Main event, Sergey Kovalev made quick work of Ismayl Sillakh. After a fairly even first round, Kovalev landed a hard right hand at the beginning of the second round that sent Sillakh straight to the canvas. A few seconds later a quick combination would end the night for Sillakh.
