Manny Pacquiao's next opponent will be decided today according to Pacquiao's promoter Bob Arum. While an announcement could be set for today as well, it's likely that one won't come until next week when Arum has secured all the contract signatures and made a final deal with his opponent. The leading candidate and likely opponent for April 12th is expected to be a rematch with WBO welterweight champion Timothy Bradley. Pacquiao demolished Bradley in June of 2012 over 12 rounds only to lose a controversial decision at the hands of the judges. Other than Bradley, the only other person in the mix to face Pacquiao is Ruslan Provodnikov, however since both of them are friends, and are both trained by Freddie Roach, it's unlikely that fight will get the nod over a rematch with Bradley. Provodnikov has been targeting Juan Manuel Marquez for his next fight.
