Amir Khan cuts into Maidana's lead in Mayweather poll

It's been one of the most talked about topic's in boxing this week. Undefeated superstar Floyd Mayweather took to Twitter and Instagram on Sunday night asking the boxing fans to go to Mayweatherpromotions.com and vote who they want his next opponent to be. The two options that fans are allowed to pick from were Amir Khan and Marcos Maidana. When the poll first opened Maidana soared to a 75% to 25% favorite. However little by little the Khan fans, most likely from the UK, have brought him back into the race. Currently Maidana's lead is very small. Maidana holds 53% of the votes while Khan holds 47%. The voting is supposed to last until February 9th, and the winner is likely going to be Mayweather's May 3rd opponent.
