Donaire-Walters to co-feature Golovkin-Rubio on HBO

Former pound for pound ranked and WBA world champion Nonito Donaire (33-2, 21 KO’s) returns to the ring October 18th on the undercard of Gennady Golovkin vs Marco Antonio Rubio on HBO. Donaire will be taken on the undefeated hard hitting Nicholas Walters (24-0, 20 KO’s) in what many expect to be a terrific showdown between two power punchers. Walters is coming off a 5th round TKO victory over Vic Darchinyan while Donaire is coming off a controversial win over Simpiwe Vetyeka in where Donaire was cut but came out for five seconds into the fifth round so that the fight could go to the scorecards. The decision victory had many fans unimpressed and Donaire is looking to rebound after the controversial win.
