Kovalev Dominates Hopkins

Sergey “Krusher” Kovalev (26-0-1, 23 KOs) scored a one-sided twelve round unanimous decision over Bernard “The Alien” Hopkins (55-7-2, 32 KOs) to unify the titles. Scores were 120-107, 120-107, 120-106. Hopkins didn’t win a round. Kovalev dropped Hopkins with a right hand in round one. Kovalev was content to box with Hopkins as the slow pace Bhop was setting.  Hopkins rocked Kovalev in the twelfth round, but Kovalev roared back and pummeled Hopkins for the last 60 seconds, nearly getting the stoppage.
