Newly crowned WBC super middleweight champion Badou Jack will be defending his title against George Groves next, according to the World Boxing Council, who has set a purse bid date of May 22nd. Jack, promoted by Mayweather Promotions, defied the odds by defeated Andre Dirrell in April to win the WBC crown. Groves has managed to score two victories since his devastating knockout loss to Carl Froch last year. Unless something odd happens a Jack-Groves showdown is likely to take place next.
