Andre Dirrell didn't feel like he lost to James DeGale Saturday afternoon on NBC. Dirrell felt that he outboxed DeGale despite being knocked down twice.
“They said I ran from Carl Froch and they took that fight from me,” said Dirrell. “He ran tonight and they gave it to him. All he did was run, no way I lost this fight!”
Dirrell had alot of success outboxing DeGale for most of the fight however the last two rounds may have cost him. Dirrell was controlling the pace by outboxing Degale after round four but in the last two rounds DeGale took it to him landing some big shots to take the rounds. Those two rounds could have cost him the fight.
