Walters-Marriaga undercard results

Undefeated super lightweight prospect Michael Reed (15-0, 8 KO's) kicked off the Walter-Marriaga card in impressive fashion as he defeated Luis Gonzalez (11-2-1, 6 KO's) by unanimous decision. Scores were 80-72 twice and 80-73 with one judge scoring a 10-10 round in what otherwise would have been a shutout.

Upcoming lightweight contender Jason Sosa (16-1-3, 11 KO's) dominated Santiago Bustos (7-7-1, 3 KO's) with a 5th round TKO victory. Sosa was able to hurt Bustos a number of times throughout the fight but the tough Bustos wouldn't give up until going down in the 5th.

New professional heavyweight George Arias (4-0, 3 KO's) needed just two rounds to dispose of Eric Cason (2-4, 2 KO's). Arias came out with a Mike Tyson like style using head movement and power punching to take out the taller Cason

Christopher Diaz(11-0, 6 KO's) scored a hard fought unanimous decision victory over Marcelo Gallardo (5-3-2, 2 KO's). Scores were 59-55 and 58-56 twice.
