Seanie Monaghan dominates, wants a big fight next

Undefeated light heavyweight Seanie Monaghan (25-0, 16 KO's) put on a dominating performance at Madison Square Garden to defeat Fulgencio Zuniga (27-11-1, 24 KO's) with a 9th round TKO victory. Monaghan was stunned early with a left hook from Zuniga, and again later in the 1st round with the same punch. However, the 1st round would be the only round he lost. Monaghan used relentless pressure and a right hand that didn't seem to miss the entire fight to break down Zuniga round after round. Zuniga continued to fight but Monaghan's skills proved to be to much.

The fight was the second time Monaghan has fought in five weeks. After the fight Monaghan said that he would take a few weeks off however he gets bored when he's not training.

"I just want a big fight." Monaghan said.
