Amir Khan: I am not fighting Kell Brook

British welterweight Amir Khan has been getting some slack in regards to facing fellow countryman Kell Brook. The pressure from the media, and Brook himself, has been on for Khan to step into the ring with Brook very soon. Khan told the National that the fight wasn't something he was interested in.

“I am not fighting Kell Brook and that’s the end of it. Eddie Hearn and Kell has been very disrespectful, trying to fool the public, using my name to keep his fighter relevant in the media,” Khan said.

Khan would go on to say that if Brook were to beat two or three top contenders then maybe he would fight him. Khan is searching to face Floyd Mayweather on September 12th.
