This past weekend – when Frampton got off the floor to decision against Alejandro Gonzalez Junior, and Quigg blew away seasoned campaigner Kiko Martinez – it seemed the two were as far apart as ever when it came to making the fight.

“When you come to negotiate you can’t be making too many demands. If Quigg really wants the fight I’m happy to fight him in his own backyard, but we just need to remember who’s the boss when it comes to negotiating.”
