Tomasz Adamek Out of Retirement Returns Sept 25th

Tomasz Adamek (49-4, 29 KOs) has not even been retired a year and is ready to fight this September. Adamek will face Przemyslaw Saleta (44-7, 22 KOs) in a 10 round bout on September 25th @ Przemyslaw Saleta at the Atlas Arena in Lodz, Poland on Polsat TV.

Tomasz Adamek has resigned with Main Events for what seems to be a one fight deal but if he wins can choose to continue fighting. It’s unclear. “It’s up to him to decide if he wants to retire, not me,” Duva said via ESPN.com. “This is a novelty fight in Poland because they are both big names there. Whatever Tomasz does, he has earned the right to do what he wants and to go out how he wants to go out.”

Tomasz Adamek lost his last two fights against Artur Szpilka & Vyacheslav Glazkov. Then retired last December. He has an impressive resume of fighters; Eddie Chambers, Chris Arreola, Steve Cunningham, Nagy Aguilera, Michael Grant, Dominick Guinn, Travis Walker, Kevin McBride, Vinny Maddalone, and Jason Estrada.
