You read that headline correct. 51-year-old Donovan “Razor” Ruddock (40-5-1, 30 KOs) is returning to the boxing ring on September 11th at the Ricoh Coliseum in Toronto. He will be the co-feature to Adonis “Superman” Stevenson (26-1-0, 21 KOs) against Tommy “Kryptonite” Karpency (25-4-1, 14 KOs).Ruddock will be fighting Canadian heavyweight champion Dillon “Big Country” Carman (8-2, 7 KOs) in a schedule televised 10 bout on Spike TV.
Believe it or not Razor Ruddock has been very active this year. He fought twice in 2015 against Eric Barrak & Raymond Olubowale winning both fights. Before 2015 he had not fought since 2001. Ruddock resume from the 90’s is impressive, fighting the likes of Mike Tyson, Lennox Lewis and Tommy Morrison. His very first fight was March 20th 1982, which means he’s been boxing professional for 33 years.
