IBF cruiserweight champion Yoan Pablo Hernandez (29-1, 14KOs) was set to defend his title against Victor Emilio Ramirez (22-2, 17 KOs) of Argentina on July 25th. The bout was postponed due to venue issues. The fight is a go for September 26th in Buenos Aires.
Yoan Pablo Hernandez won the vacant IBF cruiserweight title in 2011 when he fought Steve Herelius. Since then he has defended the title five times. Ramirez became the mandatory challenger after winning the interim title with a twelve round unanimous decision over very durable Ola Afolabi in April of this year.
