Eggington-Gavin go head to head Oct 17th

British and Commonwealth champion Sam Eggington will face Frankie Gavin October 17th @ Barclaycard Arena. This is a stacked bill promoted by Eddie Hearn (Matchroom Boxing). The bout is for the BBBofC, Commonwealth (British Empire), British welterweight title & WBC International Silver welterweight title scheduled for 12 rounds of boxing.

Sam Eggington, recently fought this past July defeating Glenn Foot by TD in round eight. The fight went to the cards due to Foot being unable to continue after having sustained a cut by the left eye from an accidental head clash. Eggington is coming off seven wins, five by knockout.

Frankie Gavin recently lost to Kell Brook by TKO in the 6th round this past May. This fight really is a do or die bout for Gavin .
