Terence Crawford-Dierry Jean set for October 24th

Terence Crawford (26-0, 18 KO's) will be defending his WBO World super lightweight title against Dierry Jean (29-1, 20 KO's) October 24th. The fight will likely be on HBO and in Crawford's hometown Omaha, Nebraska. This will be a schedule 12 rounds of boxing.

Terence Crawford, is coming off a big win against Thomas Dulorme back in April of this year. Dulorme was down three times in that fight when it finally ended in round 6 by TKO. Crawford currently undefeated sports a 69% knockout ratio. Before fighting Dulorme he has a impressive resume defeating names like Raymundo Beltran, Yuriorkis Gamboa, and Ricky Burns within the last 18 months.

Dierry Jean, has four consecutive wins with three by TKO in the past year. His most recent fight was against Jerry Belmontes @ Bell Centre, Montreal, Quebec, Canada where he won by UD, scores: judges: Nicolas Esnault 99-89, Jack Woodburn 98-91, Tom Carusone 99-90. Jean only has one lost to Lamont Peterson back in January 2014 where he lost by UD. Dierry Jean has 20 knockouts and sports a 67% knockout ratio.

The championship event will be televised live on HBO World Championship Boxing® , beginning at 9:30 p.m. ET/PT.
