James “Lights Out” Toney (76-10-3, 46 KOs), 47, will fight next month Fri, Nov 27th against Eric “The Hammer” Martel Bahoeli (11-5, 7 KOs), the fight will take place @ Canadian Tire Centre Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. This is a scheduled eight round bout in the Heavyweight devision.
Its hard to believe that Toney started his career out at middleweight in 1988. Then moved to super middleweight and up the ranks to where he is now @ heavyweight. Toney has been active fighting four times in 2013, skipped out in 2014 and fought last in August of this year against Charles Ellis. Toney lost against Ellis by a 10UD. Although Toney's resume is very impressive with fighting a total of 682 rounds with 91 bouts, one has to question why is he still fighting?
Bahoeli does not bring much to the table against Toney with a total of 16 bouts and 70 rounds. Bahoeli lost two of his last three fights. In his last outing he took on Samer Barakat winning by a six round UD. He started his career in 2008 and does not really have any notable fighters on his resume. At 6’3”, Bahoeli will have a big size advantage over Toney.
