Amir Khan vs Samuel Vargas Is On

News from the U.K hit today stating that Amir Khan (32-4) will square off against Samuel Vargas (29-3-2) on September 8th. It will be Khan's second fight this year. Khan destroyed Phil Lo Greco in one round back in April, and before that he hadn't fought since losing to Canelo in 2016. While many hoped to see Khan in a big fight, against either Adrien Broner or long time rival Kell Brook, it seems as though team Khan didn't think the Lo Greco fight was long enough to knock off the ring rust. Unless Khan fights in December it's likely he won't get a big fight until 2019.
