Keyshawn Davis and Emmanuel Tagoe will do battle on April 8, FightNights.com has learned.
The two combatants have reached a deal for a 135-pound matchup that will take place in Newark, New Jersey, in what will be Davis' first scheduled 10-round contest.
The Olympic silver medalist went 3-0 with two knockouts in 2022, including a shutout decision win over former title challenger Juan Carlos Burgos to end the year.
The Olympic silver medalist fought three times in 2022; Davis (7-0, 5 KOs) scored two stoppage victories before a shutout decision win over former title challenger Juan Carlos Burgos in December.
The Peter Kahn-managed Tagoe (32-2, 15 KOs), 34, of Ghana, is coming off a one-sided decision loss to Ryan Garcia in April. Garcia floored Tagoe in in the second round but the fringe contender got on his bicycle to survive their 12-round battle.
