Pound-for-pound undefeated great Terence ‘Bud’ Crawford is set to challenge Israil ‘The Dream’ Madrimov for the WBA and WBO interim World Super-Welterweight titles on August 3 at BMO Stadium in Los Angeles. The fight will be broadcast live globally on DAZN PPV.
Crawford (40-0, 31 KOs), hailing from the United States, is stepping up to the 154-pound weight class after his successful undisputed welterweight championship victory, where he delivered a TKO against Errol Spence Jr. last July. Uzbekistani contender Madrimov (10-0-1, 7 KOs) earned the WBA 154-pound crown in March with a fifth-round TKO over Kurbanov on the undercard of another Riyadh Season blockbuster. With Crawford’s impressive streak of eleven consecutive stoppage victories, Madrimov is set to face a formidable opponent.
Having already conquered the Super-Lightweight, Lightweight, and Welterweight divisions, Crawford is aiming to solidify his legacy by claiming titles in a fourth weight class.
The Crawford vs. Madrimov bout will headline a spectacular card featuring high-stakes clashes from start to finish.
WBA Super-Lightweight champion Isaac Cruz (26-2-1, 18 KOs) will defend his title for the first time against Jose Valenzuela (13-2, 9 KOs). Meanwhile, Cuban standout David Morrell (10-0, 9 KOs) aims to maintain his unbeaten record and secure his eighth consecutive stoppage against former world title challenger Radivoje Kalajdzic (29-2, 21 KOs).
Adding to the drama, former unified heavyweight world champion Andy Ruiz Jr. (35-2, 22 KOs) returns after nearly two years to face Jarrell Miller (26-1-1, 22 KOs). Miller seeks to reclaim his status as a feared heavyweight following his first professional loss last December.
Another heavyweight clash will feature Jared “The Real Big Baby” Anderson taking on fellow knockout artist Martin Bakole. Olympic Lightweight gold medallist Andy Cruz will kick off the event, looking to continue his winning streak against Mexican contender Antonio Moran.
This action-packed card promises an unforgettable night of boxing, showcasing elite talent and thrilling matchups.
